England - North York Moors to Scarborough

Fen Bog Nature Reserve lies between the summits of Tom Cross Rigg and Crag Stone Rigg. It is very important for ground nesting birds like the curlew and golden plover. They regularly burn patches of heather here to encourage grouse breeding. They say that parts of the bog are deep and could be dangerouns so we kept to the paths!
